New Scout Building

This project involves the demolition of the existing Scout Hut and the design for a new detached building to provide updated and improved facilities on the same site.  The new building will provide meeting and recreation facilities for many Scout groups and the wider community.

The new scheme will be built using sustainable energy efficient construction techniques incorporating  green technologies such as solar panels and rain water harvesting systems.  The new building will be sustainable and therefore an education in itself as well as providing new facilities for the use of the community.

Planning permission has now been granted and fundraising for the building is well under way.
