Detached Country House, Beckwithshaw
For this project we were appointed to provide architectural services to completely re-plan, extend and refurbish a large detached country house.
The proposals also included refurbishment of a two storey adjacent cottage, to be linked with the main house, providing additional accommodation and a separate self contained annex for dependant relatives. In addition re-modeling of the elevations was included in the scheme.
We worked closely with our clients to design an individual family home incorporating features of architectural interest such as full height glazing, opening up of spaces to create larger family living areas and creating split level differences, reflecting the individual nature of the site.
