19th Century House, Ripley

We were commissioned to provide a full architectural service for this project, to design a single storey extension to a 19th century stone built detached house, within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The proposal included partial demolition and re-building to create a large open plan living and kitchen / dining space.  Incorporating design features such as an aluminium roof lantern and bespoke bi-folding glass doors, the new space is filled with natural light and has the facility to completely open up onto the exterior terrace and gardens.

Through particular attention to detail, the project included additional features such as specialist lighting, underfloor heating, surround sound systems and natural slate flooring. The specialist design kitchen by Asolo complements the new contemporary interior.
